Job description

Lead the future of Smart Sustainable Building Management. As Lead Solution Director Field Services at Planon, you’ll shape the vision and drive the commercial success of our Field Services solutions.

 

In a world where buildings account for 20% of GDP and 35% of global emissions, our software makes a real difference. We develop smart, in-house solutions that empower Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and Field Services Management (FSM) providers to deliver hyper-efficient services through automation and seamless IT/OT integration. We help clients stay in control—boosting efficiency, managing costs, and navigating the growing complexity of buildings and workforces.

 

Our ambition is to drive 40–45% ARR growth annually by delivering reliable, innovative technology. We’re looking for someone to help shape the future of our Field Services solution. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, partners, and our ecosystem to evolve the product and expand into new markets.

 

As a Lead Solution Director Field Services, you add value in many ways by: 

  • Leverage your deep knowledge of the field services industry and software solutions market—both in Europe and globally.
  • Use your strong network of industry players to drive business development and establish thought leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in field services management, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Lead a multinational team of 5 Product Managers to define, position, and deliver solutions through our Business Areas, partners, and Development Teams.
  • Shape a multi-year solution vision and business case roadmap aligned with company strategy, market trends, and customer and partner feedback—collaborating closely with the VP Solutions and fellow Lead Solution Directors.

You’ll lead a cross-functional team that brings together product innovation, marketing, services enablement, and sales excellence—ensuring our solutions are grounded in customer insight and competitive advantage.


Our ideal candidate:

  • 10+ years of experience in FSM (IFM knowledge is a plus)
  • Proven success in product strategy, solution marketing, or business development in B2B SaaS
  • Strong understanding of mobile workforce management, SLAs, and digital transformation
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and development
  • Recognized thought leader with a strong industry network and open to travel internationally
  • Strong communicator in English; proficiency in Dutch, German or French is a advantage.
