Do you want to define and drive the functional vision of a global enterprise platform? As our Functional Director - Functional Architecture & Platform Capabilities, you will play a key role in defining the functional architecture of the Planon Application Framework (PAF), one of Planon’s most strategic assets.
Working within the CTO Office, you will translate customer, market and solution requirements into reusable, scalable platform capabilities that accelerate innovation across all Planon Solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Development Directors, Technology Directors and other senior stakeholders to ensure every platform investment contributes to a stronger, more coherent and future-ready platform.
What will you do
Define and continuously evolve the functional architecture of the Planon Application Framework.
Own and govern the platform capability model that forms the foundation of all Planon Solutions.
Translate customer, market and business requirements into reusable platform capabilities that drive innovation at scale.
Establish governance standards that promote platform consistency and prevent functional duplication across solution domains.
Balance short-term product demands with long-term platform integrity, scalability and reuse.
Drive adoption of shared capabilities across Product Management, Architecture and Development teams.
Build a functional platform strategy that enables faster delivery of new solutions while strengthening the overall platform ecosystem.

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience within enterprise software, platform products or enterprise architecture.
- You have a strong background in functional architecture, platform strategy or business capability modelling.
- You have proven experience translating complex customer and business requirements into scalable and reusable platform capabilities.
- You have successfully influenced multiple product and development organizations without direct managerial authority.
- You have experience driving platform standardization and reducing complexity across large software portfolios.
- You are a collaborative leader with excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
- You combine strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities with a passion for simplifying complexity through reusable platform capabilities.
Good to have
- Experience working in SaaS, PropTech, IWMS, enterprise platform or ecosystem-driven software environments.
- Experience collaborating with API, developer ecosystem or platform-as-a-product initiatives.
- Experience with AI-enabled enterprise platforms and digital transformation programs.
