Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of credit control and contract administration processes. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and efficient execution of data validation, invoicing, and debt collection. You’ll work independently while collaborating across departments to support business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Review incoming orders to ensure alignment with contractual terms, especially financial elements such as payment schedules, credit conditions, and indexation clauses.
  • Validate order details against contracts to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Oversee contract renewal processes, including preparing and sending client notifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and contract-related disputes.
  • Coordinate credit control activities within the assigned Business Area.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on credit-related queries.
  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Monitor invoice status and ensure payments are received in accordance with contract terms.
  • Communicate with clients to address inquiries, follow up on disputes, and resolve billing issues promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of collection activities and update internal systems accordingly.
  • Operate effectively in an international work environment.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms and financial conditions.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Preferred: Experience with SFDC platforms (Salesforce, Certinia, Billing Central), Exact, and Trust-it.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with invoicing and debt collection processes.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and Dutch; proficiency in German or French is a plus.
